This site is run by the owners of the Monti Mood apartment. We are a small operation and we collect as little as we can get away with.

What we collect
When you write to us
The contact form asks for your name, email address, optionally your travel dates, and your message. We use it to answer you and for nothing else. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to an enquiry you chose to send. We keep enquiries for up to 24 months, then delete them.
When you visit
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages bring people here. It is not loaded at all unless you press Accept on the cookie banner. Decline, and no analytics script is requested and no analytics cookie is set. IP addresses are anonymised. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through cookie preferences.
Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs for security and abuse prevention. Those are Cloudflare's own records rather than ours.
When you book
Bookings are taken by Lodgify, which runs the checkout at checkout.lodgify.com. When you click through to book, your booking and payment details are handled by Lodgify under its own privacy policy and by the payment provider. We never see or store your card details.
Who else sees your data
Our email provider, so we can receive your message; Lodgify, if you book; Google, if you consented to analytics; Cloudflare, which serves this site. We do not sell anything to anyone, and we do not run advertising or profiling.
Google and Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards those companies publish.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our processing it, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to joanna@montimood.it and we will answer within a month. If you think we have got it wrong, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Changes
If this notice changes we will update the date at the top. We do not keep an archive of previous versions.
